Dani considers her counseling office a sacred space and strives to hold that space in a way that honors each unique client, inviting them to be authentically themselves. Dani follows a process of first meeting clients where they are with genuine empathy and kindness, then collaborating with them to set goals and find creative ways to journey together toward healing and wholeness.
Dani is most passionate about walking with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, identity, self-esteem, body image, relationship challenges, career exploration, and adjustment (into college or young adult life), but she finds purpose in all her counseling relationships. In those relationships, she finds it equally important to grieve and sit in brokenness and pain with clients as it is to celebrate growth, healing, and health.
Dani has a Master's Degree in Counseling from Cornerstone University. Outside of seeing clients at Insight Counseling Partners, Dani is an Assistant Director at Grand Valley State University’s Career Center.
